Buzz's Death
Buzz is a minor character in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2.
Buzz, who also calls himself "One Willie Buzz", is a cocky high school senior, with a fondness for crude humor, a trait he shares with his best friend Rick.
In 1986, he and Rick were on their way to a frat house party in advent of their graduation. While driving down a countryside road in Texas, the duo have their fun and raise hell, by shooting at road signs, blocking the line of a local radio station with raunchy requests and forcing a banged up pick-up truck off the road.
They continue their ride, as well as the prank call, well into the night and as they cross a bridge, they run in the truck from early, which starts driving parallel to them on a remote bridge. Buzz reverses at full speed to shake of the pursuer, but to no avail, as they see a corpse-like being emerge from the back of the truck, which soon produces and revs up a chainsaw and starts cutting into the car's frame. Rick manages to get a lucky headshot on the body with his .44 Magnum, but discover that it is a mannequin puppet, controlled by Leatherface (Bill Johnson). Unfazed, he continues to ram the saw into the car, eventually slicing off the top of Buzz's head. As it splurges blood, Buzz struggles to form coherent sentences before the car ends up crashing.
